Last week, Emily and Martie packed their thermal gloves and headed back to Britain to perform at two sold-out shows in London's Union Chapel. Armed with their cameras and flip videos, the Court Yard Hounds battled the cold, a tube strike, and some interesting European characters for a week packed with promotion and performances. A few weeks ago Emily and Martie were in Nashville to present an award at The Americana Awards which honors artists whose work blurs the traditional boundaries between country, rock, folk, blues, bluegrass and other quintessential American styles of music. This year was the ninth annual event and was held at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium.

The Court Yard Hounds have been all over North America this month and have been from coast to coast playing a series of dates with Lilith and a few headlining dates of their own too.
