WE are pleased to have accepted the chicks into our circle of fans. THEY have performed with some of OUR very special ones.
I strongly suspect you would not approve of artists like Sheryl Crow or Stevie Nicks... and many more

You say you came here to not be mean-spirited but that is exactly what you were. Get over it. People are allowed to be people and I'm sorry but if I felt passionate about something and the world did not like what I had to say I would give you an up yours attitude and these ladies will live just fine without the purchase of your one cd. They are talented artists and are allowed to have the same freedoms of speech as you and I. While on that note yes you have the freedom of speech to state your feeling but think about it.. you found their website, signed up and then consciously made that comment.. if that is not textbook mean-spirited then I do not know what is. It is their lives and they are allowed to prosper and bring wonderful, happy, and heartwarming music to the fans that still have a place in their hearts for them. You cant stop talent with the lack of purchase of one album and if you're not here to be supportive then maybe you shouldn't return. Put your comment in a public forum, not here, this is THEIR space.
As for the Dixie Chicks, I have and always will love the Chicks! And the song, "not ready to make nice," let me just say that I've been there and on numerous occasions have sang that at the top of my lungs to let out some steam. I say rock on ladies, do your thing! Oh, and send Natalie my regards and a pat on the back for standing her ground and one for you for backing her.

Yeah, get over it. We as Americans did ourselves a great diservice by disowning the Dixie Chicks. Hell, half of America was bashing the president at the time and more have done it since. Whether you agree or disagree with what she said, who cares?????? If you are so hung up on that $%#! that you still have something against Natalie Maines, you need to get a life!!! They were such a breath of fresh air for music and because of immature, uneducated, dumbasses we now don't have them anymore. No go and sit on your ass and critique every word everyone says and find someone else to pick on. All of you no life, nothing better to do but stir up s*** people.
