In Memory of Nancy Atkins
Natalie, Emily, Martie, and the entire Dixie Chicks team would like to extend our sincerest condolences to the family of Nancy Atkins who lost her battle with cancer this week. Nancy was an incredible Dixie Chicks fan who ran the prominent fan website Chicks Rock! Chicks Rule! Her dedication to Dixie Chicks and the passion she exhibited in life will be sorely missed. In lieu of flowers or cards, her family has asked that donations be made in her memory to The Providence Foundation. The Providence Foundation was instrumental in providing Nancy with the funds and care to take the battle with cancer head on. Our thoughts go out to Nancy's family at this difficult time.

Nancy was an incredible woman,she ran the CRCR site on her own and was always quick to praise other fans with their great stories about the Chicks.
Lots of hard work collecting all the media,the concert footage,interviews,photos of our favourite group.
Fans like Nancy are the reasons,people like me cross the pond nearly every year to meet other fans who iv made friends with over the years,also crossing the pond on several times to see the Chicks.
Its fans like her that make us proud to part of a unique group of fans,who have become close friends.
Its fans like Nancy,who unselfishly gave her free time to bring to much love and joy to other fans with her amazing board.
She got her wish a few years ago when she met the Chicks.
She will never be forgotten by her very good friends and all the Chicks fans.xxx
