The Court Yard Hounds have been all over North America this month and have been from coast to coast playing a series of dates with Lilith and a few headlining dates of their own too.

The band started in Portland and moved up to Wine Country at the start of the month, here's a great snap of Martie and Emily in Saratoga.



The Hounds' fearless manager didn't miss the opportunity for a show at a winery, here he is with Martie.



The band's drummer Fred takes a nap after a hard day of traveling... or wine sampling.

Court Yard Hounds then joined the Lilith Fair gang and played the first show in Kansas City:



Martie and Emily's favorite part of being part of Lilith is the fact they get to meet and collaborate with all the other talented ladies on the tour. Every day before the show there was a press conference where everyone on the bill came together to talk to media and answer questions.

It's not without it's perks though, Martie got to chat with Emmylou Harris and introduce her to her daughters
