Girls... i was a huge fan of the DC! then all the crap happened right before the war... and with peoples hearts and lives soo involved in that situation it was hard to be okay with how flamboyant and loud Natalie had been (and got) It made me turn the channel or turn it off if i heard DC music... ONLY because it brought up hurt feelings and sad times.... music is about expressing yourself and letting the world hear what you are really made of.... and i love that about yall. but i hope you remember that not everyone holds your opinion and tho we love your music we may not want to get political or AGREE with you. I love the lyrics of your music and may not agree with all of it but i looove the passion and LOVE the talent and it makes me appreciate it all! i love your new sound, the new album, the style of the page and your cover (im a graphic artist lol) please ladies keep this about the music and not a political agenda...please. i will admit when i saw the ad on FB and clicked on your site... i thoguht something bad. i didnt want to get into all that old hostility... but i saw that it was just you two girls...and the sound was AMAZING!! i loved it... and i signed up THEN AND THERE for start following you and the talent. i cant wait to see what is to come and i will be behind you and the MUSIC all the way!!!
Dissenting from the previous comment, DC earned tremendous respect and a larger following with the integrity demonstrated during the Bush Administration's illegal war of aggression in Iraq that sadly still has not been brought to an end. Good music with vapid lyrics unconnected to the times in which we live adds nothing to culture or community. So keep it coming and keep it relevant in the spirit of DC. Work to end the war in Iraq and Afghanistan. Send hospital ships not war ships. Protest the use of drone aircraft that only destory hearts and minds. No one hates "our" freedom. They hate what our military leaders and corporate entitities do to devastate their countries. End the plunder in our name and the world will be safer, as will we.
