I was excited to hear a few of the songs and I couldn't believe what I was hearing, I never imagined Emily's voice like this in my head... really cool. My first thought... very Shawn Colvin-ish! Shawn is one of my all-time favorites and I followed her way before I was ever a Chicks fan. It's just so satisfying to hear two incredibly talented artists doing music for us again. I was afraid that all the "hoopla" had robbed us music lovers of such amazing songerwriters and musicians... I'm glad I was wrong. Can't wait to hear the whole album and I'm hoping I can fly to the closest city to hear the duo play in an intimate setting. Hopefully, they'll add more dates soon. The Kentucky Theater in Lexington, KY would be an awesome venue... keep that in mind!!! You'll have my full support on this album and project and I wish you the best!
